S-ENCE 100% Silks are individually hand-painted using the highest quality fiber reactive dyes. The dyes are mixed by the artist and applied with a paintbrush in unique designs, steam set and then gently machine washed in cool water, or hand washed, with a mild soap, hung to dry and ironed with a silk-set iron, or steamed, if needed. Silk does not take kindly to heat, so hot water or the dryer are not recommended. Silk can be damaged by chlorine, oils, and fragrances; it is not recommended to expose silk to these elements.
